Hi! I'm Jen! Why should you choose me as your celebrant? I will get to know you as a couple and make you totally at ease with the whole process, so your special day is fun, relaxing and full of love. We will get every little element of your ceremony perfect because that's how I roll. Even though I talk a lot, I'm a surprisingly good listener! Just ask my recent client Gail " Her appearance at the service was perfect her voice projected perfectly and I was left believing she had listened in detail to my every request! I cannot recommend this lady enough."
I love to dance, and Zumba Gold is my favourite form of exercise.
I spend a rdiculous amount of time playing console and PC games and watching scifi films or reading. My favourite games are 'Zelda - Twilight Princess' and '7 Days To Die'. My favourite movies? Too many to pick really but the LOTR movies, Galaxy Quest, musicals and Bollywood movies!
I like to walk in my native Peak District, and ride my bike.
I'm very keen on home design but I hate having what everyone else has, and adding to the pile of 'stuff' that goes to landfill so I always try to make things from upcycled resources. This years projects have included a radiator cover and a printer station from bits of an old wardrobe! Looking after our world is important to me and I try to do my bit including avoiding single use plastic, having a renewable tariff on my electricity and driving an EV.
I love to sew and craft too, and I make and design lots of things for my celebrant business.
I'm a proud mum of Joe, a 25 year old fellow gamer geek and chartered accountant, and am really looking forward to performing the commitment ceremony for him and his charming partner Morgan.

I believe that every wedding should be a reflection of the couple's love story. I strive to create a unique and personalised experience for each of my clients, from the initial consultation to the last dance. Inclusivity and understanding are not just a policy for me, they are my way of life.

The Funeral Celebrant Accord defines the attributes and skills required of an excellent funeral celebrant and is intended to set the standards by which all celebrants offering funeral services should be measured. The role of a funeral celebrant is to serve the bereaved and their community by creating and leading a personal, accurate and respectful funeral ceremony. Their work should clearly reflect the life, values and beliefs of the person who has died, acknowledge and give time to their community of family and friends, and create an environment in which the grieving process can be held and supported.
